He was talking about the use of billboards as out of touch (insert sarcasm here), but his point was right on. Look around you next time you are at a stop light and see how many people are on their phones. We are hoping they are driving, but there a definitely not looking at the billboards.

I have noticed those same people are the real estate buyers here in Pensacola, and their attention span is REALLY small which means you only have a few seconds to impress them with (wait for the hint….. a PHOTO) before they are on to the next thing. (12:10) for Realtors Lance explains that photo’s done right can brand yourself. I absolutely agree here. Every listing I take between Pensacola, Orange Beach, or Gulf Shores I get professional photo’s. Its just part of what my clients expect.

(12:42) “Just because you have the expensive equipment, doesn’t mean you know how to use it properly” Lance Selgo. In this part Lance dives into some of the tricks real estate photographers can do to enhance the positive features of your property.

(15:28) “Real estate photo’s more of a business than art” Lance Selgo. Here Lance talks about the different types of photographers and how a seller or realtor needs to look at their portfolio differently.

(21:20) Does the real estate photography software matter? Lance explains that it may matter, just depends on what you are looking for and of course who you are talking to.

Lance explained how this method can give off a “fishbowl” effect that you really don’t want (look at the kitchen here. Instead stringing together good quality photo’s should suffice. If you still want video (which I still do for many buyers when the other agent does not have one) then he recommends having them done when you get photos, or doing a walkthrough yourself

(27:30) Lifestyle video? Here Lance and I talk about a newer type of real estate video that is coming to market. This type establishes more of an emotional draw to the property.
